Family Fun & Child Friendly Activities
Over 9,000 people of all ages join Candians to celebrate their national day at this event that’s supported by the Taipei City Government, as the CCCT works the the Formosa Cancer Foundation to support their vital work. This annual event has become a family favorite, thank to the many free activities in the MIT Family Zone, which include:

An Opportunity for Kids to Interact in English
Many families attend this event as it’s an amazing opportunity to speak English, while enjoying the free activities in a fun, relaxed environment. Speaking English comfortably and confidently while having fun works wonders for a child's motivation to pursue fluency. When children enjoy using English, they're more likely to:
Seek out English-speaking opportunities on their own.
Feel excited about learning, rather than anxious.
Retain language skills more effectively.
Develop a positive attitude towards language learning.
The Photo Scavenger Hunt With English Clues
This year, the CCCT is partnering with Canadian-owned MIT English to coordinate the highlight activity: the Photo Scavenger Hunt with English clues. Students can pick up the activity cards from the Celebration Station in the MIT Family Zone. To celebrate MIT English’s 25-year anniversary in Taiwan, and their founder’s long lasting contributions to the CCCT, MIT English is giving away 4 individual weeks of summer camp at any of its six branches to those who complete the scavenger hunt!
Visit MIT’s Celebration Station during the event to get instructions on the scavenger hunt and to learn about their programs and receive a special discount on their upcoming courses. But please, don’t forget to use your amazing English speaking skills!
